There is a glitch that occurs when someone enters the party while it's empty, or joins the party while other people are there, then waits for everyone to leave and next plays a game. When they leave the game, they will enter the 2012 New Year's Party. Once, someone went to this party when it wasn't supposed to be joinable, however, the shops cannot be opened. The method used to do this is unknown.
